Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years professional bakery experience in a high-volume operation
  • Must be able to follow specific instructions regarding company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of and experience working with dough in various stages, mixes, bread, and frozen products
  • Ability to prioritize work and execute tasks with speed, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Must have reliable transportation and attendance
  • Must pass Baker screening test

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years professional bakery experience in a high-volume operation
  • Knowledge of scaling, proofing, shaping, production, and baking of a variety of products using industrial bakery equipment
  • Experience in following standardized recipes, organizing and maintaining bakery workstations
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation techniques
  • Ability to correctly identify product and read production sheets
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Accurate math skills
  • Must maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene

Job Duties

  • Scaling, proofing, baking, and decorating a variety of products adhering to established standards and recipes
  • Working with co-workers to ensure product quality and efficient productivity
  • Maintain production and usage records as required
  • Maintain high sanitary, hygienic, and safety standards and conditions
  • General cleaning, other food service duties, and projects as requested by management
