We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Bakers to join the Einstein Bros. Bagels family. Bakers play an essential role as the heartbeat of our bakery operations, responsible for crafting the fresh, quality bagels and pastries that our customers love. This position involves arriving early, sometimes as early as 3 AM, to prepare and bake a variety of items while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Bakers also help maintain the store’s inviting atmosphere by stocking fresh products throughout the day, assisting with customer orders, and contributing to a clean and well-organized environment. Working as a team with fellow employees, Bakers at Einstein Bros. Bagels take great pride in their craft and the positive experience they help create for every guest. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years or older
- must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to work varied hours days as business dictates including early hours as early as 3am depending on the restaurant and weekends
- must be able to pass background check as applicable with local state and federal law
- possession of a current valid state issued driver’s license always preferred but only required at specific locations and meet the driving qualifications as required by company policy
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years or older
- previous baking or food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends
- basic food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- arrive early and prepare ingredients and equipment for baking
- bake fresh bagels and pastries according to company recipes
- stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product availability each shift
- assist with order taking and sandwich making to provide excellent guest service
- maintain a clean and safe store environment
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bakery operations
- adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
