The position entails working various shifts, including early mornings starting at around 2 AM, weekends, and holidays. You must be physically prepared for bending, standing, walking throughout the workday, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds occasionally. Job Requirements

  • Some high school education or equivalent
  • Ability to read and perform math
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to interact with customers on a friendly basis and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work varied schedules including weekends, holidays and shifts starting around 2am
  • Ability to work alone while baking
  • Physical ability to work in any area of the restaurant
  • Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
  • Capability to bend, stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements all day
  • Ability to lift 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Ability to handle exposure to food, cleaning chemicals and extreme temperatures

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and prepare their orders, use Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute bill amounts, collect payment and make change
  • Prepare food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them cheerfully and helpfully to customers
  • Check products in prep area and restock items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift
  • Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas or portion controls
  • Follow proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards including checking dates, temperatures and logging information
  • Perform general housekeeping and cleaning
  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook and franchise standards
  • Perform light paperwork duties as assigned
