Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Be reliable and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess good communication skills
Be able to take direction and work well in a team
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
Operate bakery tools and equipment safely
Be able to stand for extended periods and handle light to moderate lifting
Maintain food handlers permit
Adhere to safety and health regulations

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Exhibit an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Be dependable, reliable and flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Adhere to food safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
Be capable of standing for up to 3 hours continuously and handling physical tasks involving lifting and transferring bakery items

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating bakery products and discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
Answer phones and take special orders
Operate bakery tools and equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks safely
