Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- Experience or training in bakery or food service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts
- Must follow health and safety guidelines
- Must have dependable attendance

- Effective problem-solving skills especially in dynamic and stressful environments
- Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Knowledge of retail food business and perishable department operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic baking and pastry skills
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
- Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
- Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
- Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
- Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production-level
- Maintain food safety logs and ensure quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
- Work closely with Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
- Maintain regular and timely attendance complying with the work schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
