Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service or assistance
- commit to the Golden Rule and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is respectful, supportive and totally team oriented (RSTO)
- assist in receiving and unloading merchandise and check for quality and accuracy
- keep all bakery ingredients or merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy and product code dates using first in, first out
- assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control
- handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and control damaged goods
- prepare all baking mixtures in accordance with established procedures and recipes
- operate mixer, ovens, and other baking equipment according to specifications and customer needs
- adhere to all health and safety regulations including sanitation procedures
- maintain clean and organized display cases, cooler, and freezer
- exercise proper safety practices when lifting or using equipment
