Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of 1 year of bakery experience
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • age 18 or older
  • flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of bakery experience required
  • possess the ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
  • possess excellent communication skills, both in written and oral form
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • ability to interpret and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
  • ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts
  • must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake and finish cakes, pies, French pastry, cream tarts and other dessert/baked items according to standard recipe
  • prepare dessert and baked goods for restaurants and banquets as per production sheets
  • prepare requisition for items for storeroom and pastry/bakery chef approval
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station within Servsafe and GSR guidelines
  • ability to follow directions and recipes as dictated by Bakery management
  • demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with communication, initiative, problem solving, guest service, work habits and conduct
