- Prior baking experience required preferably in a larger-scale production kitchen
- full-time availability with open schedule including weekends

Job Qualifications

- ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately
- strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- effective communication skills for interacting with customers and supervisors
- capability to work under pressure during peak production times
- ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following production standards
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory management
- maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and work area
- handle food items safely in compliance with safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
