Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in bakery or food preparation environment
ability to work full-time varying days and schedule, primarily early mornings
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ability to follow recipes and production instructions
physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment
willingness to comply with company safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in bread baking, scratch baking, tarts, and mousses
ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
experience with production planning and inventory tracking
customer service skills
ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment calmly and efficiently
good communication skills

Job Duties

Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as per production and catering sheets
assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and equipment
complete production records including waste tracking and notify supervisor of low supplies
ensure proper presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and work area
handle food items following safety regulations
clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
keep pace with peak production and service calmly and accurately
check food presentation and display per standards
follow sanitation and safety principles
complete assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
perform other duties as assigned
