Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- able to perform physical activities including stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions
- vision capability from more than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, color vision, depth perception, field of vision
- able to work overnight shifts
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months to one year similar or related experience

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner whether in the bakery or elsewhere in the store
- learn customers' names and address them personally when possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions
- answer telephone promptly and take product orders
- check daily orders and set production schedules
- prepare, bake, and fry all bakery products as needed
- inspect products for freshness and quality, removing stale items
- invoice and put away products as directed
- anticipate product needs for current and future days
- inspect incoming product quality and quantity
- operate and understand bakery equipment and maintenance needs
- check signage for correct labeling
- review department for safety issues
- lead bakery clerks and prioritize orders
- proof bakery items
- pull products from cooler or freezer
- practice sanitation procedures ensuring cleanliness
- adhere to personal hygiene and dress standards
- comply with company policies
- report to work on time
