Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of baking experience
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
- Flexibility to work around customer demands including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
- Ability to work in hot, busy environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of baking experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and fulfill orders
- Flexibility to work early morning, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality control
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Designing new and improving existing recipes
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc.
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
- Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels of baked goods
- Keeping spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities, portioning and rotating products using FIFO
