Job Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- 3-5 years commercial bakery experience as a baker or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice is required
- Must have flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on changing business demands
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years commercial bakery experience as a baker or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice
- Ability to understand written and oral directions and interpret instructional documents such as recipes and operating procedures
- Basic understanding of U.S. units of measurement
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Experience operating commercial-grade ovens and bakery equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Job Duties
- Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
- Utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes
- Accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking
- Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes
- Assists in the development of cake production plan
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
