Job Requirements

Six months to one year experience in commercial or institutional baking
Ability to read and speak English
Effective verbal communication skills
Knowledge of baking methods and operation of commercial ovens

Ability to read and speak English and follow recipes accurately
Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with patients and customers

Job Duties

Review menu and assemble supplies, ingredients, and baking equipment
Prepare and bake breads, rolls, muffins, cakes, desserts, and pastries
Assemble sandwiches and other items according to procedure
Select, measure, and mix ingredients, pour batter into pans and bake
Cut and portion finished baked goods for distribution
Send baked goods to cafeteria, catering, and patient tray line per schedule
Consult with Executive Chef on special items and new recipes
