Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with bakery equipment and safety practices
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and problem-solve effectively

- Previous bakery or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to baking
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
- Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
- Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
- Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
- Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production levels
- Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
- Work closely with all bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
- Regular, timely attendance and providing notice for absences
- Perform other duties as assigned
