Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with bakery equipment and safety practices
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and problem-solve effectively

  • Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
  • Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
  • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production levels
  • Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
  • Work closely with all bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
  • Regular, timely attendance and providing notice for absences
  • Perform other duties as assigned
