Job Requirements

  • Previous baking experience required
  • Ability to work full time schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow OSHA regulations
  • Willingness to undergo background checks
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Availability to work at the San Francisco location

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
  • Utilize proper equipment for baking processes
  • Assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory management
  • Inform supervisor when supplies are low
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Handle food items with adherence to safety regulations
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • Relay customer concerns to supervisors
  • Keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
  • Check food presentation, serving, and display meet standards
  • Follow sanitation and safety principles according to corporate and OSHA standards
  • Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
