Job Requirements

At least two years of previous baking experience preferred
ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
capability to follow recipes and production standards
proficiency in handling baking equipment safely
basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles
excellent time management skills
ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
strong interpersonal skills for customer interaction
compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
minimum two years baking experience preferred
knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
ability to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday
basic math skills for measuring ingredients and recording production
strong attention to detail and quality
good customer service and communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely

Job Duties

Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
use proper equipment safely and effectively
assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory monitoring
inform supervisor when supplies are low
ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures
maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
handle food items safely adhering to food safety regulations
clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before shift end
keep display equipment clean
interact with customers and address complaints professionally
relay customer concerns to supervisors
keep up with peak production and service demands calmly and efficiently
ensure all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards
follow sanitation and safety principles per company and OSHA requirements
complete shift work timely and thoroughly
perform other duties as assigned
