Job Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age required
Food handler certification required
Ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely
Basic mathematical skills for measuring recipes
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 75 lbs

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age required
Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
Food handler certification required
Six months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Typically involves on-the-job training

Job Duties

Follows recipes to prepare cakes, donuts, cookies, and other products according to customer orders or as needed for display
Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, shaping, and scoring them
Operates commercial baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough proofers, etc
Responsible for completion of production list and filling out special order requests, as well as packaging and labeling products
Maintains attractive product presentation in designated area by maintaining and filling bakery trays, display cases, and ingredient bins, as well as rotating product to ensure quality and freshness while adhering to food safety standards
Maintains friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, responding to complaints, and assisting in locating and selecting products
Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures
Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives
