Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- Basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting using whole numbers and fractions
- Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
- Ability to work irregular hours including early mornings weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform duties in a demanding environment including lifting up to 50 pounds and using required PPE
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous related baking experience preferred
- Experience with scaling mixing proofing and baking breads and other baked goods preferred
- Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- Basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting using whole numbers and fractions
- Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
- Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of performing duties in a fast paced environment requiring standing walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching and moving for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift carry push pull or move objects up to 50 pounds regularly
Job Duties
- Perform basic baking duties including measuring and mixing ingredients to established recipes to make rolls muffins and basic yeasted breads
- Use and clean all kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils including ovens mixers and knives safely
- Maintain a safe sanitary and organized work environment working closely with Stewards at all times
- Learn to perform more advanced baking duties and assist other members of the Pastry and Bread team
- Assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls policies procedures and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
