Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous related experience preferred
  • Ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division and fraction counting
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
  • Professional interaction with guests and team members
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights mornings weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing and movement
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment
  • Vision capabilities including close vision color vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous related experience preferred
  • Experience with or knowledge of scaling mixing proofing and baking of breads and other baked goods preferred
  • Ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Ability to use basic math including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays
  • Must be physically able to perform duties including standing sitting walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching moving for prolonged periods and lifting carrying pushing pulling or moving objects up to 50 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Perform basic baking duties including measuring and mixing ingredients to established recipes to make rolls muffins and basic yeasted breads
  • Use and clean all kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils including ovens mixers and knives safely
  • Maintain a safe sanitary and organized work environment working closely with stewards at all times
  • Learn to perform more advanced baking duties and assist other members of the pastry and bread team
  • Assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls policies procedures and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
