Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months to one year of related baking experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- good vision and color perception
- ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to flour, noise, temperature extremes, dampness, vibrations, equipment hazards, and cleaning chemicals
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- adherence to company policies and safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them
- assists customers by escorting them to products or securing out-of-reach items
- answers telephone promptly and takes product orders
- checks orders for the day and sets up production schedule
- prepares makeup, bakes, and fries bakery products
- reviews product freshness and pulls by stale date
- invoices and puts away products
- anticipates product needs for current and future days
- inspects incoming product quality and quantity
- manages bakery equipment maintenance issues
- checks signage for correct labels
- maintains department safety
- operates as lead with bakery clerks
- prioritizes orders
- proofs necessary items
- pulls products from freezer or cooler
- follows sanitation procedures
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time
