Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to transfer bakery trays and items up to specified weights
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks
  • Dependability and reliability in attendance and work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Exhibit dependable and reliable behavior
  • Demonstrate friendly and outgoing attitude
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Maintain Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to operate bakery tools and equipment safely
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and transfer items up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment
  • Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating bakery products and discarding outdated items
  • Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
  • Operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks
  • Answer phones and take special orders from customers
