Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Maintain Food Handlers permit
Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for an 8-hour shift
Ability to transfer bakery trays and items up to specified weights
Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks
Dependability and reliability in attendance and work ethic

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Exhibit dependable and reliable behavior
Demonstrate friendly and outgoing attitude
Possess good communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Maintain Food Handlers permit
Ability to operate bakery tools and equipment safely
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and transfer items up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating bakery products and discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
Operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks
Answer phones and take special orders from customers
