Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1 to 2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Be dependable and reliable
Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess good communication skills
Able to take direction and work in a team environment
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Capable of standing for prolonged periods
Able to lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
Adhere to all safety, health, and food handling regulations
Maintain a valid Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1 to 2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Demonstrate dependable and reliable work habits with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Have good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Ability to perform general housekeeping duties and sanitize work area
Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Able to stand continuously for up to 3 hours and lift items up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide high level of customer service ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery area and equipment
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while discarding outdated or spoiled products
Receive, inspect, and log bakery products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
Operate bakery tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to health, safety, and food handling regulations
