Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of high volume baking experience preferred
- ability to work full-time schedule Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
- willingness to follow corporate and OSHA safety standards
- ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness in work area
- ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- capability to manage production responsibilities including waste tracking and inventory awareness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with baking in a high volume environment preferred
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- strong attention to detail and quality
- good customer service skills
- ability to work under pressure and maintain efficiency during peak production times
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment
- assist with the completion of production records to include waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handle foods items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors
- consistently exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- check to ensure that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
- complete shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
- perform other duties as assigned
