Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- basic math skills for baking measurements
- reliable transportation to work
- willingness to comply with all safety and hygiene regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous baking experience in a retail or commercial setting preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- ability to operate bakery equipment
- good customer service and communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- willingness to learn and adapt to new baking methods
Job Duties
- prepare breads, cookies, pastries, and desserts
- decorate cakes with precision and creativity
- operate ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers safely and efficiently
- ensure baked goods meet quality, freshness, and safety standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases and shelves
- engage with customers to provide friendly and helpful service
- restock bakery items as needed
