Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Ability to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and lift items up to 40 lbs
- Adherence to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Dependable with ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Physical capability to stand and lift moderately heavy items

Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service while ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products
- Examine rotation of bakery products and discard outdated or spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log shipment of products for accuracy, quality, and temperature
- Operate bakery equipment safely and assist customers with special orders
