The Baker position operates directly under the supervision of the Bakery Manager and is responsible for preparing and baking a high volume of bakery products. The role demands adherence to standardized recipes to maintain product quality and consistency. In addition to baking, Bakers perform related preparation and sanitation duties to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace. Given the nature of our grocery store environment, Bakers must be able to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, to meet store and customer demands. The position requires physical endurance for heavy lifting as well as standing, walking, and kneeling throughout shifts. Sound physical condition and the ability to handle these demands safely are essential. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is mandatory, reflecting our commitment to food safety and proper hygiene practices.
