Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in baggage handling or airline operations preferred
  • Ability to lift and handle baggage
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Effective communication skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass background check
  • Willingness to attend paid training

Job Qualifications

  • Clear written and verbal communication including email coordination
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in time-sensitive environments
  • Ability to lift and handle baggage
  • Comfortable in a physically active, behind-the-scenes role
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a proactive approach
  • Previous baggage handling or airline operations experience preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate timely and accurate baggage handling to ensure all items are routed to the correct aircraft
  • Verify oversized and interline baggage is properly documented and loaded
  • Prepare the bagroom and ensure it's operational before check-in opens
  • Communicate with other airlines and ground handling teams regarding missing or delayed baggage
  • Respond to email correspondence regarding baggage claims and escalations
  • Collaborate with Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) and airline personnel to maintain efficiency and prevent delays
  • Support behind-the-scenes operations beyond front-line passenger check-in
