Job Duties
- Brings carts from shelter to cart staging area outside the Golf Shop to ensure being prepared for members and guests
- removes bags from the bag storage room and loads onto member or guest carts to ensure availability for play
- transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers
- checks golf ball supply throughout the day and picks and washes golf balls at the end of the business day
- removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room or to valet
- returns carts to shelter, removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., washes cart with hose, dries it off, parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable
- operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls
- washes all range balls daily
- observes pace of play and requests slower playing groups to speed up, if appropriate
- escorts unauthorized people from the course
- ensures that divots and ball marks are repaired
- reports all infractions to Golf Shop
- ensures that sand traps are raked
- carries and provides clean towels and water for ball washers
- replaces towels and replenishes water on ball washers
- performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors or managers
