Job Description
The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove is a premier golfing destination located in Huntsville, Alabama. This Northern gateway to the Trail features a stunning 54-hole facility renowned for its diverse terrain that offers golfers a unique and challenging experience that varies from one side of the property to the other. The Trail is internationally recognized for its picturesque courses and world-class golfing conditions, making it a coveted location for both amateur and professional golfers alike. At Hampton Cove, golfers can enjoy two distinct and beautifully designed courses. The Highlands Course is celebrated for its long, waving grasses, dramatically rolling terrain, and pristine bent grass greens, offering an elegant and traditional golfing challenge. In contrast, the River Course provides a nostalgic and natural golfing experience, being the only Robert Trent Jones layout without a single bunker, where natural elements like massive oak trees remain untouched, and greens and tees are created by simply pushing up dirt, harkening back to the early days of golf course design. This attention to the natural landscape and topography makes Hampton Cove a unique golfing venue that appeals to players who appreciate both the art and sport of golf.
The role of Service Attendant at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove is a part-time position designed for individuals who thrive in a customer-focused environment and enjoy being part of a team that delivers exceptional service to members and guests. As a Service Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and stocking golf carts, managing the presentation of the practice facility, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the golf cart fleet and practice facilities, and providing high-level customer service to enhance the overall golfing experience. Your responsibilities include greeting members and guests, assisting with the loading and unloading of golf clubs, cleaning and maintaining golf equipment, and supporting the overall presentation and maintenance of the facility. This role requires a positive service-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other club staff to meet established quality, service, and safety standards. The position offers flexible scheduling and paid training designed to help you succeed and grow within the team. Working at Hampton Cove means being part of a supportive, fun team environment where you can build your career and resume within the golf and hospitality industry. Employees benefit from various perks including discounts on golf, merchandise, food and beverage, and hotels, as well as access to health insurance and other insurance options for full-time employees, a 401K plan with matching contributions for both full- and part-time employees after one year, and paid time off for full-time staff. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in a prestigious golf facility with a commitment to excellence and enhancing the member and guest experience.
