The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who can communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty and management to ensure smooth operational flow. Additionally, they are tasked with maintaining organizational and cleanliness standards in the backroom, supporting store shrink reduction initiatives, and promoting safety awareness to create a secure working environment.

Job Duties

  • create a positive internal and external customer experience

  • orchestrate truck delivery prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
  • train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicate with coordinator on duty to ensure efficient flow of goods
  • ensure associates complete tasks according to store plan
  • monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
  • organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • maintain cleanliness and recovery standards for backroom
  • ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • communicate effectively with management and associates
  • provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • partner with management on associate training needs
  • ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
