Job Description

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a celebrated restaurant known for its commitment to delivering an extraordinary dining experience through scratch-made dishes prepared in a fast-paced, organized, and team-oriented kitchen environment. As a leader in the casual dining sector, Firebirds emphasizes quality, detail, and the integrity of every dish served. The Back of House team is vital to maintaining this high standard, encompassing Line Cooks, Dishwashers, Prep Cooks, and Grill Cooks who cooperate closely to deliver fresh, made-from-scratch meals that satisfy and delight guests. Each team member plays an integral role in supporting a seamless culinary operation, working directly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure that every dish meets Firebirds' rigorous standards.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Willingness to adhere to hygiene and safety standards
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for 8+ hours and lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Commitment to working within a team environment
  • No prior kitchen experience required but passion for learning is essential

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations

Job Duties

  • Prepare scratch-made dishes efficiently and quickly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen station

  • Complete closing and weekly cleaning checklists
  • Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment
