Job Description

The Saxton Group is currently seeking a BOH (Back of House) Team Member - Grill to join their kitchen staff. This position offers hourly pay ranging from $9.00 to $15.50 per hour and plays an essential role in maintaining the high food quality standards that Jaggers is known for. The BOH Team Member is primarily responsible for the preparation and cooking of legendary hamburgers, chicken, and other food items within a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment. Impeccable adherence to food safety protocols, recipe execution, and timing standards are vital components of this role.

The successful candidate will be required to prepare and cook foods in a timely and safe manner consistent with recipes and operational procedures. Compliance with portion sizes, quality benchmarks, presentation guidelines, and food cost controls is expected. The position works closely with other kitchen members and managers to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere. Candidates must consistently follow strict food temperature and holding time standards to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction and safety.

Additionally, this role demands a strong sense of urgency while working efficiently without compromising safety or sanitation standards. The BOH Team Member - Grill must be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Understanding and practicing proper dress code, hygiene, equipment safety, and sanitation protocols are non-negotiable requirements in the daily execution of duties.

Physical demands of this restaurant kitchen role include frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds, standing constantly during shifts, and the ability to handle stress in a busy environment. Having a basic understanding of kitchen display systems (KDS) or computer use can be an added advantage.
