Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of experience as line cook or prep cook
  • Prior restaurant experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts
  • Food handler certification preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
  • Proven restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality control
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and advance culinary skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Culinary leadership potential for career advancement

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Taco Mama recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food production
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Support culinary leaders in day-to-day kitchen operations
