Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen
  • Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations and restaurant food safety procedures
  • Food safety and food handler certification
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Values diversity and community
  • Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress
  • Must be prepared to multitask
  • Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrections
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipe guidelines and quality standards
  • Manage inventory and follow prep guidelines to ensure kitchen readiness
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Collaborate with management to meet guest satisfaction and operational goals
  • Participate in special events and assist with food production as needed
  • Use and maintain kitchen equipment and tools properly
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations diligently
