Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently
  • Strong taste and smell discernment
  • Experience working in variable temperature and noisy environments
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in restaurant BOH food preparation
  • Advanced knowledge of kitchen stations and cooking methods
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Leadership ability to motivate and supervise staff
  • Willingness to learn and complete training programs
  • Serv Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate all kitchen-related activities
  • Ensure quality preparation and presentation of menu items according to restaurant standards
  • Maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Build a culture of teamwork and enthusiasm among kitchen staff
  • Train, motivate, and supervise BOH team members
  • Assist with inventory management, invoice processing, and supply management
  • Perform line checks and monitor employee performance
  • Assist in managing food costs, operating expenses, and labor costs
  • Help prepare timely and accurate inventory reports
