Currently, Sheehy Auto Stores is expanding its team by seeking talented Service Lot Porters to support its growing business operations. The role of the Service Lot Porter is critical to maintaining the dealerships’ high standards of presentation and customer interaction. As a Service Lot Porter, you will be entrusted with greeting customers warmly and ensuring that all vehicles on the lot are meticulously cared for. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of vehicles, installing necessary tags and protections, and making sure that the lot itself is visually appealing and well-kept. The position demands a proactive approach to vehicle care and lot appearance, aiming to create lasting positive impressions for customers upon their arrival.

The Service Lot Porter role also involves operational responsibilities such as securing vehicles by locking them properly and ensuring keys are correctly stored and managed. Job Duties

  • Installs seat, steering wheel, floor protection, and key tags in all vehicles taken in for service
  • ensures that all vehicle keys are returned to the appropriate location
  • ensures that all vehicles in the lots are locked, with windows rolled up, and keys securely stored
  • follows all company policies and procedures and informs supervisor of any illegal activity
  • remains engaged with management, team leads, fellow team members, and processes to foster successful working relationships
  • maintains follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to client satisfaction
  • immediately communicates with management whenever a concern or situation arises
