The role of Automotive Service Porter / Valet at Corwin Ford of Spokane's Service Department is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals eager to start a rewarding career in the automotive industry. In this critical role, the Service Porter / Valet ensures the smooth flow of vehicles throughout the dealership, assisting customers and colleagues alike. Responsibilities include parking, retrieving, and moving vehicles, managing the organization of busy parking areas, and acting as a liaison between the Service and Sales Departments. You will play an important role in the pre-delivery process by staging vehicles for inspection and assisting with vehicle acceptance. Maintaining the cleanliness of the service lanes, shop areas, and vehicles as needed is a key part of the job, contributing to the top-tier customer experience the dealership strives to deliver. Additionally, you may be tasked with driving the Courtesy Shuttle and performing other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

  • Greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • park, retrieve, and move vehicles to assist customers and staff
  • supervise our busy parking lots and keep them organized
  • be a liaison between the Service and Sales Department
  • stage vehicles for pre-delivery inspection
  • help accept vehicle delivery
  • remove debris and clean service lane and shop as needed
  • clean cars as needed
  • drive Courtesy Shuttle as needed
  • other duties may be assigned
