We are currently seeking a personable and dependable Automotive Porter to join our customer experience team. This role is vital as it directly influences the first and last impressions customers have when visiting Sanderson Ford. The Automotive Porter will be responsible for vehicle handling and presentation, lot organization, and providing guest assistance that enhances the entire dealership experience. The Automotive Porter will participate in activities such as greeting customers, managing valet and lot parking logistics, vehicle transportation, responding to inquiries about services and sales, and helping with operational support tasks as needed. Ensuring the lot and all guest-facing areas remain clean, organized, and inviting are essential elements of this role. Candidates must be trustworthy, punctual, and willing to uphold dealership standards and safety protocols at all times. Additionally, flexibility with scheduling, including some Saturdays, is required. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule including occasional Saturdays
  • comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift
  • must be able to pass background and drug screenings
  • high school diploma or equivalent required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • positive attitude and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers upon arrival and create a positive first impression through attentive, professional service
  • manage valet parking and vehicle staging throughout the dealership lot
  • transport customer vehicles to and from their homes as needed
  • respond to guest questions about vehicle service, sales, and dealership amenities in person, by phone, and by email
  • assist with dealership deliveries, errands, and general operational tasks as assigned
  • keep the lot, service drive, and guest-facing areas clean, organized, and inviting
  • operate dealership mobile and communication software accurately
  • uphold all dealership policies and safety standards at all times
