The company actively encourages qualified individuals from all backgrounds, including those with disabilities and Protected Veterans, to join their Greater Team and contribute to their ongoing success.

This job opportunity is for the position of a Porter, a vital role within the service center. As a Porter, you will be instrumental in complementing the quality repairs handled by Gerber Collision & Glass by ensuring that customer vehicles are thoroughly cleaned prior to delivery. Besides vehicle care, the Porter maintains the cleanliness and orderly appearance of both the shop and office facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming workplace. This role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to support a high-performing team environment. The Porter is expected to execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently, ensuring exceptional standards across all tasks.

The Porter’s daily responsibilities include pre-washing vehicles before repair processes commence, cleaning vehicles' interiors and exteriors post-repair, and safely transporting customer vehicles to outsource or sublet locations as needed. Additionally, maintaining daily housekeeping duties such as emptying garbage, dusting, sweeping, and disposing of unwanted vehicle parts helps ensure the facility remains clean and organized. The role includes outdoor responsibilities such as maintaining parking lots and grounds, including shoveling sidewalks during winter. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a positive customer service attitude. Gerber Collision & Glass offers competitive compensation ranging between $14 to $20 per hour, depending on skills, education, and experience, along with bonus opportunities tied to individual or business achievements. This part-time or full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates who meet the physical demands of the job and possess a valid driver's license, as operating a motor vehicle is an essential part of the position. Joining Gerber Collision & Glass means becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence, personal development, and industry leadership.
