Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary certification or equivalent culinary training and experience
  • 1+ years of commercial foodservice experience
  • experience in food preparation and equipment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read and write
  • ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • willingness to work extended hours and/or rotating schedules
  • ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
  • physical ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs
  • ability to frequently reach at waist, shoulder, knee, floor, and occasionally overhead
  • ability to lift up to 80 lbs and manage heavier items with a team lift
  • ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training
  • at least 1 year of commercial foodservice experience

Job Duties

  • Cut, slice, dice, chop food for recipe preparation
  • prep ingredients according to recipe specifications and SOPs
  • prepackage condiments for prepared food items
  • complete tasks at assigned work station
  • assist in multiple cooking venues
  • assist in technical areas and catering orders as needed
  • master recipe preparation including daily production adjustments
  • prepare, package, and plate fresh product
  • ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
  • operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • provide superior customer service
  • offer detailed menu knowledge and assist guests
