The role of Line Cook / BBQ Pitmaster is an integral position within the restaurant’s culinary team. As a Line Cook / BBQ Pitmaster, you will be responsible for prepping ingredients according to recipe specifications and standard operating procedures, ensuring that all food items meet the restaurant's high standards. The job includes cutting, slicing, chopping food, prepackaging condiments like sauces and dressings, and assisting in various cooking venues including catering orders when necessary. You will master the recipes, adjusting daily production to accommodate raw material variations and customer demand, while also plating fresh products with attention to quality and presentation.

The position demands a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards by carefully handling ingredients and equipment, maintaining proper temperature control, and ensuring cleanliness in all food preparation areas. Additionally, the Line Cook / BBQ Pitmaster is expected to operate and maintain all kitchen equipment properly and collaboratively work within the team to deliver a safe and productive operation.

Physically, the job involves functioning in a fast-paced retail environment with extended or rotating work hours. The role requires maneuvering around mechanical parts, frequent standing, walking, and exposure to various temperature extremes including heat and cold. Lifting up to 80 pounds, as well as coordinating team lifts for heavier items, are typical physical demands. Job Duties
