Job Description

Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant that originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975. It has since become a staple in the industry, famous for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, flavorful fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. Over the decades, Chili's has cultivated a culture centered on fun, hospitality, and exceptional service. The restaurant prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere where guests feel special and valued, and where team camaraderie and collaboration are at the core of every operation. Chili's is not just about good food; it’s about creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door. The corporate ethos emphasizes giving back to the community, fostering inclusivity, and providing a joyful working environment for its employees. Whether it’s through the quality of the food, the warmth of the staff, or the vibrant atmosphere, Chili's strives to deliver the best dining experience possible.

The role of a Chili's Manager is pivotal to maintaining this standard of excellence. Managers at Chili's are truly wired for hospitality, meaning they are passionate about both connecting with team members and exceeding guest expectations. They lead by example, ensuring that team members adhere to operational and quality standards while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment where open communication is encouraged and teamwork is celebrated. A successful manager at Chili's not only drives business results but also actively motivates their team, champions change initiatives, and ensures that every guest's experience is exceptional. The role requires a balance of heart and mind—leading with empathy and strategic insight to meet and exceed financial responsibilities while maintaining a vibrant dining atmosphere. Additionally, Chili's Managers are responsible for hiring, training, retaining, and developing team members, nurturing their growth to take on larger roles within the company. They keep a sharp focus on safety, food handling procedures, and operational systems to uphold Chili's reputation for food perfection and guest satisfaction. Underpinning all these responsibilities is a commitment to Chili's cultural beliefs, where every guest counts and accountability is key, creating a workplace where both guests and employees thrive. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are dependable, excellent multitaskers, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting that rewards dedication and teamwork.
