The position of Vehicle Operator is primarily responsible for handling the movement of vehicles during sale day events and throughout the general operations of the auction facility. This involves driving, parking, and staging vehicles safely and efficiently within the property and to and from customer dealerships or other designated locations. Individuals in this role must be reliable and safety-conscious, demonstrating impeccable driving skills, a strong understanding of traffic laws, and adherence to company safety protocols. The Vehicle Operator is expected to operate assigned vehicles with diligence, ensuring orderly parking and movement in line with the company’s operational demands. This job offers a temp-to-hire opportunity, providing a pathway to long-term employment with competitive pay at a rate of $17.00 per hour.
Those hired will work a schedule beginning at 8 AM on Tuesdays and every other Thursday, aligning with the auction events that take place. The role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently but within the guidelines and procedures provided by the supervisor. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- must possess a valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- ability to read English and/or comprehend motor vehicle traffic signs
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate vehicles driving, parking, and staging in support of sale day events and general car sale activities
- move vehicles to, from, and within auto facility property
- ensure all vehicles are operated in a safe manner adhering to company policies procedures and traffic laws
- demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques observing rules of the road at all times
- drive assigned vehicles through vehicle lanes on sale days
- park vehicles in proper order on auto facility as directed
- transport vehicles to and from customer dealerships and other assigned locations
- assist in moving inoperable vehicles when directed
- comply with all safety protocols related to the job
- perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
