Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is a leading name in the location-based entertainment industry, operating over 360 venues across North America. This innovative company specializes in providing top-notch experiential offerings that include bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. As a major player in the entertainment sector, Lucky Strike Entertainment also owns the Professional Bowlers Association, which is recognized as the major league of bowling and a significant media property with a global fan base in the millions. The company is committed to creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences for guests of all ages across a wide variety of entertainment options, making it a dynamic place to work and grow professionally.
The Attractions Attendant role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a vital position responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the company's entertainment attractions. This role entails a significant focus on guest satisfaction, safety adherence, and operational efficiency. Working as an Attractions Attendant means being on the front line of the guest experience, helping to maintain a safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The position requires adherence to company guidelines, safety protocols, and operational procedures to guarantee the security and enjoyment of every guest.
In this role, the Attractions Attendant operates assigned attractions only after being certified through thorough on-the-job training. Responsibilities include enforcing attraction rules such as age and height restrictions, issuing and maintaining proper safety equipment, and continuously monitoring attractions during operation. Providing assistance to guests when entering and exiting attractions safely is a key part of this role, ensuring comfort and security throughout their visit.
Additionally, the Attractions Attendant plays a critical role in security and emergency response by preventing unauthorized ride operation, conducting inspections, reporting mechanical or electronic issues immediately, and communicating emergencies promptly to supervisors or managers. The role also involves close cooperation with team members to maintain seamless operations and other related duties as assigned.
This position requires individuals who pay strong attention to safety details, follow policies strictly, and communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. The ability to work independently while exhibiting a team-oriented mindset is essential. Candidates ideally have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior guest service or attraction operations experience considered a plus.
Physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, bending, squatting, gripping small objects, and the ability to push or pull heavy items. Due to the nature of the work environment, attendants must be able to operate in high noise settings and variable weather if working outdoors. The role requires individuals to have clear vision, hearing, and communication skills. Availability during days, nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary to meet operational needs.
The compensation range for this position is $16.90 to $18.00 per hour. Lucky Strike Entertainment offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package that includes healthcare coverage and a variety of other benefits. Details for the benefits and incentives can be found on the company’s careers webpage.
