Job Requirements
- A valid state driver’s license
- Current address
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus
- Availability to work special shifts (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends)
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Ability to provide accurate information and respond professionally
- Ability to read, write, add and subtract US currency
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to adapt to changing situations calmly
- Knowledge of local streets and landmarks is an advantage
Job Duties
- Deliver on Our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies
- Patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed
- Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to garage office
- Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways to assist customers
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed
