Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or parking operations preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of traffic control and parking regulations
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Physical capability to perform patrol and maintenance duties

Job Qualifications

  • A valid state driver's license, current address, and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus
  • Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends)
  • Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired)
  • Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints
  • Ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working

Job Duties

  • Deliver on our promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively
  • Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience
  • Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed
  • Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies
  • Patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed
  • Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to garage office
  • Substitute for valets when necessary, if authorized
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience
  • Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed
