The colleague is expected to foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging customers personally, assisting with total store fulfillment processes, and upholding a clean, organized shopping area. Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Proficiency in reading and understanding employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions in real time to address customer needs and resolve issues
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Able to meet daily sales goal challenges
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Enjoy meeting people and sharing information
- Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to operate electronic devices and retail technology
- Able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds
- Capability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and retail technology
- Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
