Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related field
  • minimum four years of management experience in a hotel setting
  • fluent in English
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • familiarity with local Department of Health regulations
  • understanding of laws pertaining to hazardous substances
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related field
  • at least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
  • ability to fluently speak, read, and understand English
  • familiarity with OSHA and local Department of Health regulations
  • knowledge of current laws governing the handling of hazardous substances
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • team player attitude

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire new employees
  • receives and resolve guest complaints
  • assign duties to department heads and observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
  • support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of the hotel
  • step in and act as General Manager in their absence
