The role of the Assistant General Restaurant Manager (ARGM) at Church's Chicken is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager. This full-time role involves hands-on daily management of restaurant operations, working closely with the management team to ensure the successful implementation of Church's initiatives and programs. The ARGM plays an essential part in meeting or exceeding established financial sales and profitability goals while also managing all banking and administrative responsibilities related to restaurant operations.

In this role, the Assistant General Restaurant Manager assists with staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory management to maintain smooth operational flow even during high-volume periods. They ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The ARGM is responsible for upholding the company’s high standards in food quality, safety, and sanitation, fostering a positive and clean working environment that aligns with Church’s commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a thorough understanding of restaurant operations including profit and loss statements and human resources procedures. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in restaurant industry
  • ServSafe food safety training highly recommended

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Ability to work minimum 40 hours per week with flexible shifts including weekends
  • Knowledge of restaurant policies, practices, and HR procedures

Job Duties
