The role of Assistant General Restaurant Manager (ARGM) at Church's Chicken is a crucial leadership position within the restaurant's field operations. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, the ARGM plays an essential part in overseeing the daily activities and overall operations of the restaurant. This hands-on management role involves supporting the implementation of the company’s initiatives and programs, ensuring operational excellence, employee development, and maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction. The ARGM helps to achieve or exceed financial targets including sales and profitability goals while managing banking and administrative duties.
As the key person responsible for supporting staff performance, the ARGM assists in ensuring that all employees are properly trained and schedules are efficiently prepared to meet business needs, especially during high volume periods. The position requires maintaining accurate inventory records, understanding and enforcing company policies, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The ARGM is expected to uphold the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in the facility, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products during every shift.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in the restaurant industry
- ServSafe food safety training highly recommended
Job Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of valid insurance
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, available for flexible shifts including weekends
- Knowledge of restaurant policies, practices and operational and human resources procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements
- Ability to implement policies and procedures
- Skilled in employee development through coaching and counseling
- Ability to improve customer satisfaction continuously
- Knowledge of recruiting and interviewing team members
- Ability to supervise others effectively

Job Duties
- Assist Restaurant General Manager in ensuring all employees are trained
- Assist Restaurant General Manager in maintaining appropriate staffing and preparing weekly schedules
- Help staff during high volume periods as needed
- Administer all paperwork in a timely manner
- Analyze profit and loss statements and assist in meeting established sales plans
- Maintain and record accurate inventory
- Understand, enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining company operations standards and compliance
- Ensure enforcement of all federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean facility at all times
- Deliver consistent, high quality products daily, every shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
